Giants of the British Isles.
- Authors
Bradley, Lisa; Morrison, Patrick J.
- Abstract
The authors comment on stories about giants on the British Isles. They state that giants were an integral part of history in Greek and Roman times. They note that the construction of Megalithic remains such as Stonehenge, was attributed by several European legends to giants. They add that the first recorded patients with isolated familial acromegaly were Hugo brothers Antoine and Baptise, who were both over 2.3 metres in height but have five normal siblings.
