- Abstract
The article discusses two studies, published within the issue, which show progress in the field of optical entanglement distillation by recovering entanglement from laser beams that have experience non-Gaussian noise. It notes that pairs of entangled laser beams are a tool for quantum information processing. In both experiments the entangled beams are created by using squeezed light from an optical parametric oscillator, and the quality of the entanglement is measured with homodyne detectors.
