- Abstract
The article focuses on challenges associated with performing environmental research on titanium dioxide nanoparticles in aquatic environments. Topics discussed include information on self-aggregation which is a phenomenon not often found with many conventional contaminants except in cases of high concentrations; determination of engineered titanium dioxide nanoparticles (NPs) as widely used metal oxide nanomaterials; and challenges associated with performing research on titanium dioxide NPs.
