- Abstract
The article presents information on a model used to specify atomic structure. The basis of the developments of chemistry was the Dalton's atomic theory. The article offers the arrangement of the atom to bring in the concepts of the atomic structures. The article also offers a photograph of an atom model that features symbols of element, electrons, black paper, wooden frame and planetary rings. The rectangular-shaped instrument is of 28 inches horizontally and 32 inches vertically with a depth of 6 inches. The article discusses about two sections including the front section as Section Number 1 and the back section as Section Number 2. Section Number 1 consists of a wooden frame and a double strength window glass. Section Number 2 is made of plywood. Plunger type arrangement is also placed to show numbers in each planetary rings. The article offers atomic number and weight of protons and neutrons.
