- Title
WEATHER FORECASTING IN THE SUMMER CAMP.
- Authors
Williams, Lou
- Abstract
The article discusses the practice of weather forecasting in summer camps in the U.S., which is said to be one of America's greatest contribution in education. The start of weather forecasting in summer camps has started as early as 1747 in the tale of the experiences of former U.S. President Benjamin and his brother performing simultaneous observations of an eclipse of the moon. The basic practice of weather forecasting in school camps is to base the forecasting on the movement of storms from the west to east.
