- Abstract
The article reports on the recent extension of the advances technical center of Rieter Perfojet of Montbonnot, France by Swiss machinery company Rieter Holding AG of Winterthur, housing all relevant nonwoven technologies by the newly developed meltblown process. An outstanding variety of nonwoven processes including spunlace, spunbond and SPUNjet will now be enjoyed by the nonwovens industry. The design of the new Rieter meltblown system is to produce monolithic as well as layered fabrics starting at 1 g/meter squared and 1 micrometer fibers.
