- Abstract
The fiber migration of normal ring spun yarn Vs Different compact spun carded cotton yarn studied with the help of tracer fiber technique and Lindsley method like cutting combing ratio method. The migration behavior in compact spun yarn is found to be lower than that of normal spun yarn due to the continuous reduction in the spinning triangle size and its consequence in the tension gradient. Even above reasons continuous change in degree of migration, its contribution is less in comparison to the tension gradient due to fiber occupying the different radial positions in the yarn. This article conducts the fiber migration measurement in yarn and brief idea about on effect of ring frame process parameters on fiber migration and its physical properties.
