- Abstract
The educational quality of teaching in academia can be improved by using Audience Response Systems (ARS). Students have the chance to give feedback during classroom lessons and are much more involved in active communication concerning the content of the lectures. Using smart phones as a platform for ARS there are even more possibilities for involving the students. This article gives a brief overview over current ARS Systems used in academia and discusses possible future enhancements to these systems.
