- Abstract
The article explores the application of equitable relief doctrines in resolving contractual disputes brought by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Topics discussed include the compliance of commercial agreements to the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods (CISG), the changes in some provisions of the legal treatise "Restatement (Second) of Contracts" due to the pandemic, and the references of equitable doctrines to fairness and justice.
