The article focuses on the Islamic law states (ILS) as a least likely case for International Court of Justice (ICJ) authority. Topics discussed include peaceful resolution of disputes by ICJ; territorial sovereignty and diplomatic immunity as ICJ's substantive areas of jurisdiction; and number of constraints that preclude it from reaching intermediate authority.
