- Abstract
The article focuses on the changes that occurred in the skull and dentition during aging. The condition is considered as part of the developmental processes of maturation as well as degeneration. It explores the changes that take place in the hard tissues, which are the bone and teeth. It views on the differences between the bone of the young and the old as well as between male and female. It cites the occurrence of the dramatic changes in skull morphology during the loss of the teeth. Information on the treatment of the condition is also discussed.
