- Abstract
Ecuador's President-elect Daniel Noboa faces significant challenges as he takes office. The country's economy has been struggling, with austerity measures leading to a reduction in healthcare investment and a budgetary shortfall. Ecuador has also experienced a surge in violence and crime, including a spike in prison violence and a rise in murders. Additionally, the nation is grappling with the effects of climate change, including the risk to its energy sector. President Noboa's administration must address these issues swiftly to bring stability and improvement to the country.
