- Abstract
The article highlights the analysis of data concerning influenza vaccination in the U.S. during the period 2010-2011 conducted by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). According to the CDC, almost 40 percent of influenza vaccination occurred in a doctor's office during the period, while over 18 percent were accounted for by supermarkets or drugs stores and 17.4 percent were conducted in workplaces. The agency reports that although most vaccinations still occur in medical settings, the number of vaccinations conducted in non-medical settings has increased, particularly among people with higher educational levels.
