- Abstract
The article examines the factors contributing to the causation of mesenteric panniculitis. The most common basic fibrotic disorders include retractile mesenteritis, mesenteric panniculitis and retroperitoneal fibrosis but physicians and medical researchers have no particular idea on their etiology. The disease is only remarkable among elderly men suffering abdominal pain, abdominal mass and symptoms of partial bowel obstruction.
