- Abstract
Given the current relevance of research on how education in and for diversity is addressed in higher education, this paper aims to analyze the scientific literature on diversity and inclusion in higher education published in the Web of Sciences and Scopus between 2011 and 2020. A total of 112 articles were analyzed in terms of bibliometric indicators: temporal production, by journals and author, sources of information, instruments and procedures, and thematic analysis. The findings indicate an increase in productivity in 2019, a trend towards collaboration, a predominance of quantitative studies, and themes on beliefs, attitudes and knowledges, forms of diversity, and diversity education. These findings support the need to move toward new understandings about diversity on this research topic.
