In the comparison between the two hermeneuts, Emilio Betti and Paul Ricoeur, I intend to elaborate on a specific thematic axis, the relationship between objectivity and justice to be inscribed in a wider debate that interested mainly John Rawls, whose theory is considered by Ricoeur in the context of the search for a procedural theory of justice.
