The article profiles Dominican friar Giordano Bruno. It says that was born in Nola, Italy, took holy orders at the age 20, and obtain the degree of Doctor of Theology in Toulouse, France. It states that Bruno was frequently taken to court he became a friend of Queen Elizabeth, who expressed her admiration for his accomplishments. It adds that Bruno wrote "The Expulsion of the Triumphant Beast: Cause, Principle & Unity" and "On the Infinite Universe and Worlds," and his trial began in which Giovanni Moncenigo accused him of teaching the existence of a boundless universe with innumerable solar systems.
