The article offers information on the impact of changes in the performance measures for cervical cancer screening. Topics discussed include performance measures classify overscreeing to the detriment of patients and the health care; category of adherence; and requirement of different screening frequencies such as cervical cancer, abnormal findings on cervical cytological evaluation, total hysterectomy, HIV, and immunosuppression.
