- Abstract
We present a tripartite quantum information splitting (QIS) protocol for splitting an arbitrary two-qubit state by using a five-qubit entangled state as quantum channel. We describe the construction of this channel and explicitly demonstrate how the QIS protocol works. We illustrate the procedure in the ion-trap systems, but the protocol can also be realized in other systems.
