- Abstract
Dear Editor, We read with interest the manuscript of Naples and co-workers [[1]], about the significance of the splenectomy in the case of idiopathic splenomegaly. After splenectomy for splenomegaly in case of the absence of malignancy, this procedure spleen autotransplantation, as suggested for trauma, can help maintain immunity and protect the patients for the rest of their life [[2]]. 10.1007/s00268-020-05566-3 2 Toro A, Parrinello NL, Schembari E.
