- Abstract
Furthermore, two stitches are placed at the inferior end of the BariClip at the end of the procedure and these shorten the pylorus to BariClip distance. Discussion The recent introduction of BariClip in the BS world has been a meaningful novelty, effectively providing a real alternative to LSG, in patients candidate for a restrictive procedure. To overcome LSG's limitations, a promising bariatric procedure has been proposed: laparoscopic vertical clip gastroplasty (LVCG) using the BariClip device, which follows principles of LSG, but may have fewer associated risks and improved long-term results.
