The article examines intermediary liability law in Australia that provides the jurisdiction to award injunctions against intermediaries to block internet access in order to prevent online copyright infringements. Topics discussed include limits on the new statutory jurisdiction to grant no-fault injunctions; techniques used to block access to websites; and ways to block Uniform Resource Locator (URL) sites.
