- Abstract
The article looks at a study of public attitudes to bankruptcy to be conducted in any jurisdiction and associating bankruptcy with poor financial management, extravagance and greed. It mentions bankruptcy stigma relates to the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act (BAPCPA) which significant increases in the rate of bankruptcy filings in the U.S. It also mentions reforms effected by the Enterprise Act which was framed as a measure to promote entrepreneurial culture.
