- Abstract
The article offers information on the history and development of the XM25, punisher and individual semiautomatic air burst weapon system under the customary international law. It analyzes the legality of the XM25 in light of the norms in context to the article 35(2) of the First Additional Protocol. It mentions that the U.S. Army had ceased the use of the XM25 as it violates the customary international law.
