The author highlights gendered violence in relevance to the reference of domestic violence and sexual assault based on the approach of Restorative Justice (RJ) in New South Wales. It explains that RJ is a victim-centered and victim-focused approach that claims benefit for victim of crimes. It emphasizes that this approach stresses communication to promote the victim's need and interest during the process.
