- Abstract
The article focuses on the report concerning desertification and its effects on global, social and ecological stability. It discusses the strain faced by the resources of the countries to which people displaced by desertification migrate. It reports that the largest area where desertification is occurring is sub-Saharan Africa, around 200 million people are affected by desertification and lives of a great number is threatened. It suggests to improve the nature and quality of crop and forest plantings to prevent desertification.
