The article discusses the developments in employee benefits law from October 1, 2015, through September 30, 2016 . Topics discussed include decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case Gobeille v. Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. on health insurance under the U.S. Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), Amgen Inc. v. Harris with claim for breach of the duty of prudence and mentions the rule from U.S. Department of Labor on financial investment advisors.
