- Abstract
The article presents a pilot study that aims to rehabilitate a red mud bauxite wasteland located at the aluminum refineries of Hindustan Aluminum Co. Ltd. in India. The study involves 13 treatment combinations of soil amendments and inoculants, five tree, and four grass or legume species. It concludes that the suitable soil amendments are needed by red mud for a successful establishment and growth of plantations.
