- Abstract
The article describes cases of international initiatives for corporate social responsibility undertaken by the Ben & Jerry's ice cream company founded by Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield. It discusses their partnership with Community Products Inc. for the supply of Brazilian ingredients for the Rainforest Crunch ice cream flavor and the controversy that ensued from health standard failures and local anti-labor incidents. Their Great Barrier Reef Conservation project in Australia is also noted.
