- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 15-year-old female who presented with a one-month history of pelvic pressure and a three-month history of dysuria, and whose computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a metallic wire-shaped object inside a calcified mass. The patient admitted that at seven years of age, a wire twist tie was inserted into her urethra while playing with a friend. The formation of calcification around the mass over eight years resulted in the forming of a secondary calculus.
