- Authors
Anderson, Jim
- Abstract
The article discusses the ethical responsibility of a physician assistant (PA) to report a supervising physician's unprofessional behavior with reference to a hypothetical case. The legal aspects of the issue are discussed, together with a description of unprofessional or impaired behavior. The question of whether PA programs adequately train PAs in the knowledge and skills required to report colleagues is considered.
