Helping your patients to deal with a predisposition to genetic disease.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article offers information on how physicians' assistants (PA) help patients deal with genetic disease. It states that PAs should not assume that patients have understood what their geneticists have told them about the risk of the disease, and they should help their patients express their concerns, and explaining to them that medical treatments improve. It also mentions that it is important for PAs to help patients live with their feelings even with the knowledge of their genetic disease.
