The article discusses the significant role played by cellular telephones or personal digital assistants (PDAs) in enhancing the provision of medical care by physician assistants (PAs) in the U.S. It reveals that PDAs provide an opportunity for PAs to easily access information on the diagnosis and treatment for seveal diseases. Among the services offered by PDAs, including integrated programs and applications, Internet access and electronic textbooks.
