- Abstract
The article offers information on the necessity of food allergy testing in children with gastrointestinal (GI) complaints. Topics include the limited usefulness of specific immunoglobulin E (IgE) and skin prick testing in detecting allergies, the correlation between sensitization and allergy, and the importance of considering the history of symptoms before conducting allergy testing.
