Title
Colorado River Flow.
Abstract
This article discusses research study being done on the early occurrence of snowmelt in the Colorado River basin. It references a study by Tom Painter et al., published in the "Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences." The researchers showed that snowmelt in the river basin takes place earlier than usual because of increased dust caused by human activities. They revealed that early snowmelt reduces runoff and the amount of water available downstream.
