Abstract
The article focuses on the study on the formation of the planet Earth. Researchers uses the rare metal hafnium found in Western Australia, to understand the continental formation of Earth. Hafnium is thought to be the oldest rocks on Earth. Stephen Mojzsis, assistant professor of geological sciences at the University of Colorado, states that there was substantial continental crust on Earth within 100 million years of existence.
