- Authors
Corbett, William R.
- Abstract
An essay is presented that examines the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) legislation, which the author states did not come before the U.S. Senate for debate in 2010, and the efforts which organized labor made in advocating its passage. The article also reviews organized labor's support of U.S. president Barack Obama. The author also reviews the Cesar Chavez Workplace Fairness Act (WFA) during the 1990s and how the legislation would have amended the National Labor Relations Act of 2006.
