- Abstract
There are abundant resources available to translators, such as online monolingual or parallel corpora, terminology and translation databases, and various tools. These resources can assist the translation process, but they can also introduce disruptions. Therefore, this article aims to demonstrate how translation courses can benefit from systematic process logs. These logs, progressively developed and discussed orally in front of the class, can be shared and commented on online by both the teacher and other students. They serve as a record of the reflective and systematic progression of translation practices. Initially created individually, they can later be co-constructed and shared on a collaborative platform. To convey implicit, intercultural, and intertextual components, information and multimodal literacy become essential for both media and literary translation. This includes visual research, explanatory sketches, and cinematographic adaptations of literary works.
