- Authors

- Abstract
The authors offer comments on the debate over kinematic versus individualized alignment methods in total knee arthroplasty (TKA). Topics covered include mechanical alignment introduced by Michael Freeman, need for knee surgeons to use the same definitions to discuss alignment progress in order to limit the ambiguity concerning the alignment targets, features of kinematic alignment which is a patient-specific technique and outlook of knee surgeons on the emergence of newer alignment options.
