- Abstract
The article discusses the control of myzus persicae (Sulzer), the tobacco-feeding form of the green peach aphid (TGPA), use of imidacloprid and neonicotiniods, imidacloprid resistance ratios (RRs) and resistance of the Sulzer to organophosphates (OPs), carbamates and pyrethriods. It focuses on the resistance and environmentally-friendly insecticidal control of TGPA. It shows the efficiency of imidacloprid to TGPA colonies as non-harmful to the tobacco industry.
