- Abstract
Objective To compare the maximum residue limits (MRLs) standards of pesticides in Lycium barbarum L. from different countries and regions, and analyze the differences. Methods The standards of MRLs of pesticides in Lycium barbarum L. of China, European Union (EU), Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC), Korea and Japan were reviewed, the differences between China, EU, CAC, Korea and Japan on the standard system of MRLs of pesticides in Lycium barbarum L. were analyzed. Results China had stipulated 116 kinds of pesticide MRLs standards in Lycium barbarum L., while the EU, CAC, Korea and Japan had stipulated 498, 15, 52 and 214 kinds of pesticide MRLs standards, respectively, and the common concerns of our standards with the EU, CAC, Korea and Japan were 13.9%, 11.0%, 5.7% and 17.4%, respectively. Conclusion MRLs standards for Lycium barbarum L. pesticides in the types and quantities are different between China and EU, CAC, South Korea and Japan, but our standards are consistent with the actual situation in China. In order to avoid the export of Lycium barbarum L. obstruction, in the revision of China’s pesticide MRLs standards for Lycium barbarum L., it is suggested to refer to the standards of other countries, regions and organizations that have trade with Lycium barbarum L.
