- Abstract
The article discusses the American television audience's attitudes and reception toward the reality television show "Real Housewives of New York" (RHONY) participant Bethenny Frankel's career transition into what is referred to as self-branding. An overview of what is referred to as Frankel's branded self, including the relationship between Frankel's brand identity as a reality television star and advertising of Jim Beam whiskey, is provided.
