The article offers information on Juncus bufonius, which is new non-native vascular plant found in King George Island and South Shetland Islands in Antarctica. It mentions that Colobanthus quitensis and Deschampsia antarctica are the two native vascular plants in Antarctica. It states that Juncus bufonius is an abundant plant in Patagonia and was also found in sub-Antarctic islands.
