- Abstract
The article focuses on the influence of pro-Israeli lobbyists to the U.S. legislative in figuring a comprehensive settlement of the Middle East conflict. The influence of the lobbyists varies considerably in different institutions in the U.S. government. The greatest impact is on the Congress, less in the Executive department, and almost none in the State Department. Moreover, a more accurate recognition of the lobby influences would contribute to amore consistent and effective American policy.
