Economic activity in the world economy during 2011 and early 2012 were heavily affected by the Eurozone debt crisis and the collapse of the credit rating of the United States. These developments influenced the movements in exchange rates, fluctuations in the stock markets and the growth in prices. Additionally in 2011 were observed political disturbances and crises in several Arab countries, natural disaster in Japan and all that had an effect on economic growth worldwide.
