The article discusses life and work of the artist Artur Dieckhoff, who died too early in November 2020. It informs that Dieckhoff was a multi-talent as a printer, graphic artist, film and book designer, decathlete and others and he completed an apprenticeship as a typesetter, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Hamburg and then worked as a master typesetter and bookmaker. He preferred the brightly colored woodcut and helped to design a reprint of Herz-Eigen/Her-Zeigen.
