- Abstract
The article focuses on the issue of strategic resource allocation by the U.S military services which will support maritime Irregular Warfare (IW). It informs that the strategic process involves selecting and acquiring vessels by the U.S. Navy to prosecute maritime IW and determines capability and costs of candidate vessels which are in the current Department of Defense's (DOD) inventory. It informs about the wargame simulation to assess the capabilities of each vessel in a maritime.
