- Abstract
The article discusses the implementation of comprehensive monetary easing (CME) strategies in the Eurozone based on the lessons learnt from Japan as of September 2020. Also cited are the failure of the European Central Bank (ECP) to achieve the desired results of its quantitative easing (QE) program that includes asset purchase programs (APP), the Bank of Japan's (BoJ) CME program, and BoJ's move to purchase exchange traded funds (ETF).
