- Title
THREE THINGS EVERY EMPLOYER AND EMPLOYEE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SOCIAL MEDIA.
- Authors
Ray, Augie
- Abstract
The article discusses social media ethics among employers and employees. Employers are expected to train and communicate to employees corporate social media policies, give them opportunities to vent in private and proper channels and not ask for candidates' or employees' passwords. Employees should expect employers to monitor their activities through such network and they in turn should practice discretion in social media as inappropriate actions can serve as grounds for termination.
