- Abstract
The article offers news briefs on Baylor University alumni as of spring of 2009. Charles Cooper, a 1970 alumnus, has been appointed as Texas Banking Commissioner at a meeting of the Texas Finance Commission. Paul L. Foster, a 1979 alumnus and founder and Chief Executive Officer of Western Refining Inc., received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Baylor Alumni Association. Bill Barton, 1991 graduate of Masters in Business Administration, co-authored a novel "Hometown Favorite" that was released in September 2008.
